Ronald J. Baker started his CPA career in 1984 with KPMG’s Private Business Advisory Services in San Francisco. Today, he is the founder of VeraSage Institute, the leading think tank dedicated to educating professionals around the world. As a frequent speaker, writer, and educator, his work takes him around the world.

Alan Salmon

Alan Salmon is recognized as Canada’s leading analyst in the area of accounting technology. He has over 28 years of business, management systems, education and journalism experience. As the CEO of K2 Enterprises Canada, he is responsible for the Canadian operations of this international consulting group.

Bill Burdon has been employed by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in various positions for over 14 years. Currently, he is a senior technical interpretation analyst in the GST/HST Rulings section. In this role, he analyzes how the GST/HST applies to an organization’s general activities or to specific transactions and issues written rulings or general  interpretation letters for taxpayers and registrants.

For 10 years, John Lund has been an officer with the Complex Business Enquiries section of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). He deals mainly
with tax practitioners in helping to resolve complex corporate income tax
issues in addition to handling inquiries relating to partnerships,
proprietorships, and non-profit organizations.

Jeff MacFarlane

Jeff is an honorary IPBC member due to his constant involvement in the
IPBC forum. He is a native Albertan and obtained his CA designation in 1992 after articling in the Calgary Owner Managed Enterprises office of Deloitte & Touche.

Ken Richardson

Ken is an active member of the CGA Association of BC and Alberta, and has served on various professional committees including the CGA BC Ethics Committee and CGA By-Laws Committee.
Ken is also an active member and promoter of IPBC, and has been a major contributor of content development for the Vancouver and Fraser Valley IPBC Regional Meetings since 2009.

Eileen Reppenhagen

Eileen Reppenhagen is a Certified General Accountant, Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Esteemed Member of Intuit’s Trainer/Writer Network (TWN) partners with the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers as a major contributor to the IPBC member forum.

Karen Martin

Karen Martin is a Team Leader in the Corporation Returns Processing section at the Canada Revenue Agency. She has worked for CRA for 22 years in different program lines – 15 years in the T1 Program – T1 Accounts & at the Information Counter helping clients, & the last 7 years in the Business Returns Division – Corporation Returns Processing.

Carmen Grayson, CPM, FCPA

Owner /Manager of Superior Payroll Services

Carmen Grayson has had a lengthy career in the payroll industry. Her particular passion is her involvement with the payroll community. She is a Con-Ed instructor at NAIT for over 14 years and is a facilitator of many payroll seminars throughout the prairies & the territories. Carmen held a position on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Payroll Association for 8 years and in July 2012 was recognized as a Fellow of the CPA.
