Join us for Networking, educations, collaboration & comradery

Bring you elevator speech – your quick introduction

Pre-speaker topic:  Collecting from clients, what has worked for you what has not.

By request we will go over various factors of moving all or part of your bookkeeping business to the cloud (using online software)

  • Should you or should you not?
  • Is it a right fit for you and your client?
  • Can you do it all in one app or do you need several?
  • Mindset, yes they are two different animals
  • Look at some of the programs and apps that are being popular with other bookkeepers and our clients
  • What are the advantages and disadvantages

The session is meant to be interactive

Presenter's Bio:

Connie has been in business throughout most of her adult life.

It was more than 20 years ago that she decided to do bookkeeping and consulting as a career.

She has consulted for ACPAC BPI, MYOB, Simply Accounting / Sage 50 , QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. With a touch on in a couple others as well.

Over the past 20 years she has taken business owners, employees and self employed bookkeepers from paper to computer, from hating  bookkeeping to loving it or at least being able to tolerate it.

Connie is an early adopter and has been using cloud based services for about 10 years now.

She helps her staff and her clients adapt to the changing Fintech landscape and embrace what we have and what can be.

As a strong believer that we need to get with it or get left behind she looks for the most effective ways to deal with the challenges and advantages today's world of Bookkeeping is changing.

Connie will share her experiences and field your questions as best she can.

Block out time on your calendar for this event right now. Why? Just imagine networking with some of the top bookkeepers in the country. Imagine the chance to be on the fast track to a more lucrative practice, to being a certified professional bookkeeper (CPB) and to receiving greater professional recognition inside and outside of this network.

Regional Meetings are a vital part of that formula for success.

They're a unique chance to combine learning – a guest speaker shares expertise that's sure to make your work a bit easier – with fun and powerful networking.

Attending this meeting qualifies for one Professional Development Credit

Each meeting includes a guest speaker with a Q&A session; a discussion among the attendees about a marketing topic, a challenge someone may be facing, or another topic important to you; and networking. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings to evaluate IPBC. Afterwards, you must join to participate in Regional Meetings.

Our meetings are "Scent Free” and business casual attire is appreciated. This is a business meeting. Please, turn off your cell phone before entering the room, and sorry no children allowed.

We look forward to seeing you there!
